FBI Searches For 5 Bank Robbers In Denver

The Federal Bureau of Investigation needs help identifying and locating five suspects wanted in two bank robberies.

Officials said the suspects robbed the Vectra Bank located at 3600 Quebec Street on Oct. 3.

The suspects are described as black males, approximately 20 to 26 years old. They were wearing hoodies and bandannas. One suspect was wearing a rubber Halloween-type mask.

When they entered the bank, one short suspect ordered customers to the floor in the lobby and held them at gunpoint while three other suspects proceeded to rob the bank. All four suspects ran from the bank and fled the area in a late model maroon Ford Explorer driven by a fifth suspect.

The second robbery occurred on at the Washington Mutual Bank located at 6160 E. Colfax Avenue on Oct. 26.

Once again, four black males, 20 to 26 years of age, wearing hoodies and bandannas entered the bank. One of the suspects held the customers at gunpoint in the lobby while the other suspects forced bank employees into the backroom. The suspects retrieved the money and fled. The getaway method in this robbery was unknown, officials said.
